Sculptures from Mama Feeds
The following sculptures were featured in recurring private performances of the series “Mama Feeds” in which Noel Ash attempted to rearrange the architectural elements of the dining table to enable her to meet all the needs of her three children without leaving her seat at the table.
The cutout place for the mother’s seat at the table “Everyone Wants to Sit Next to Mama” allows a mother to reach every member of the family without leaving her seat.
The elongated spoons from this series allow a mother to reach and feed everyone at the table while remaining seated. Spoons range from 12″ to 30″ in length, and hang conveniently from integrated hooks.

Good Mom is an ongoing performance series that highlights the tension between societal, personal, and familial needs that color life as a woman who is also a mother.
